You can see the full changelog below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope you have all been enjoying yourselves out there in the Slog! And for those that have not, I hope this update makes it a little easier for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As usual please continue to report any issues or suggestions you may have. I will continue to try and release an update every 3(ish) months depending on the amount and complexity of the content being worked on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are also part of <strong>best indie games summer showcase<\/strong> for the next week over on Steam, where we are currently running a 10% discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/itch.io\/embed\/1171939\" width=\"552\" height=\"167\"><a href=\"https:\/\/produno-games-studios.itch.io\/spaceslog\">SpaceSlog by Produno Games Studios<\/a><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/widget\/2133570\/\" width=\"646\" height=\"190\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New items<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Added an animal sleeping spot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added a refinery.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn Uranium into Fuel Cells.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added an electric cooker.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cook various packaged meals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn raw mean into cooked meat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added tasty packaged meals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add Uranium asteroids. These will start to show after travelling a certain distance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improvements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improved orders UI.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Added &#8216;<em>forever<\/em>&#8216; and &#8216;<em>until you have<\/em>&#8216; options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added the ability to set priorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change the amount directly on the orders ticket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Changed the ore colours for ice asteroids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pressing ESC on the start menus will now take you to the previous menu rather than close them all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The game will now detect if you are using a controller or mouse and keyboard and react accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added a hint alert that will show if your ships temperature is too high.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added a hint alert for when your ship has no oxygen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notifications for points of interest when travelling will now make a sound to alert the player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doubled the time all notifications will show within the menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add ate raw food negative thought.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add ate tasty meal thought.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make the rats a little larger visually so they are easier to spot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ship mass is now affected by resources again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updates to various texts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update\/improve trade price display text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Localised more text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add support for multiple recipe outputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alloys are now used for various equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updated textures of alloys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update all dyes where used as a secondary material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a crew bar at the bottom of the screen to show all crew.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a toggle in the options menu to show\/hide the crew bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Noted in the pawn randomise popup that you cannot randomise your captain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switched around adulthood options when creating a captain so loner is no longer the default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expose more data to JSON.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement pawn carry capacity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various optimisations\/improvements to pawn behaviours.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They will be less likely to get stuck on walls or box themselves in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will now gather as many materials as they can carry and supply multiple prefabs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will also do the same when hauling and sowing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your pawn is commanded, you can now override certain situations, like not being able to go where they cannot breath.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjust the sound of the speed buttons to be less obnoxious.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer ventilators can now work externally (venting to space).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improvements to atmosphere (gas and temperature) equalisations between rooms and to space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gasses will now correctly leak through closed internal doors depending on the materials they are made out of.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add any new custom pawns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fires no longer cast shadows (optimisation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjust\/improve how lighting works.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update various menus to display other language text better.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removed error spam when using an unfinished language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show more information about each item on the items information menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Split nutrition into hydration and nutrition to make it clearer what the item replenishes. (Shown on the info menu)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added options to change the temperature display to Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve camera centering onto planets from the planet menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Balance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increased the amount of starting med kits when choosing Resourcefulness option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added some starting med kits when choosing Wastefulness option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slaughtering now increases animal skill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brewing speed is now affected by cooking skill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slightly reduced hours to sleep for humans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added a minimum amount to bribes so it can never be 0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failed bribe attempts will reduce your relations with that faction. (Note: Diplomacy will be revamped in a future update)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bruises no longer cause bleeding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rats now also drop leather.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased the amount of leather that drops overall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased leather requirements for some buildings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rebalanced mass for various resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjusted mass of various other items.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjust weapon cooldown calculations to account for the extra mass.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various equipment updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All pawns will now suffocate much more quickly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Split up passing star incidents so you are less likely to pass extremely hot stars near the start of the game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce Debris Titanium drop by 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mods<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The workshop uploader will now check a mod folder with the same name as the mod named in mod_info, if it doesn&#8217;t find it, it will find any folder containing the correct mod_id.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update module descriptions to use BBCode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mods version code has been updated to show orange if within the same alpha &#8211; for caution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Localisation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add Brazilian Portuguese language &#8211; Thanks Lucas559-noob<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updated French translation &#8211; Thanks Daneel53<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fixes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed: Saving then reloading would reset some incident timers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Saved games were not showing local times. (Note: This fix will take effect after resaving)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Issue with pawn age when reloading a saved game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Planets and stars could change positions after loading a game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Some sounds could incorrectly carry on playing when loading into a new game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Pawns would not always stay aggrod after loading a game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: A rare race condition could cause the game to crash when loading a save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Materials would not preserve colour when loading a game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Pressing ESC at the crew selection menu would cause crew to stack up\/not reset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Could not force a pawn to sleep in a bed if they already own that room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Various issues when assigning your crew to rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Various issues with temperature logic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Text input on the trade menu did not work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: You could not trade if your only crew member had 0 skill in social.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: The trade menu would show even if you have no crew with the required skill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: You could still bribe even if you had no crew with the required skill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: An error could show when demolishing something that doesn&#8217;t contain component classes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Incorrect species information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: You could force your crew to eat\/drink consumables that are not part of their diet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Pawn inventory weight would keep drastically rising.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Encumbrance on the pawn equipment menu would not update correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Incorrect colour for orange dye.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Pawns could construct buildings even if they do not have the correct skill requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Pawns could sometimes finish off a creature without it being collapsed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: A characters hair would not update on the character panel when selected and removing their helmet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Issues with rotating prefabs of a certain size.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Transfer vents could transfer into walls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Error when loading a language with no tips translated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Gas display was incorrect on the ship systems menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Showing two forced options for drink and eat for items that satisfy both.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Text would not start at the bottom of the screen on the credits menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Regression with power circuits where disconnected items would not always turn off correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Would not correctly show the no power indicator if the building was not connected to the grid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Some sounds would incorrectly play when the game is paused.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: A pawn on rare occasions could teleport to a bed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Facing issues when sitting at chairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Equipment menu would not update carried item amount when open.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Spawned custom pawns would not persist through saves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Custom pawns could sometimes get random facial hair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Not all Pawn GUI visuals would update when a pawns equipment had changed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Various issues with resolution when starting the game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed: Commanded button state would not always update if the pawn was selected and the command option had changed externally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey everyone, Today marks the first major update for SpaceSlog since it&#8217;s Steam early access release, in which I have tried to focus on QoL, balance and reported issues.
